There's a wonderful book by Stan Kelly-Bootle, "The Computer
Contradictionary", a recent publication replacing his 1970s
"Devil's DP dictionary".

Part of his entry for APL:

" There are three things a man must do
" Before his life is done
" Write two lines in APL
" And make the buggers run

Some of his other definitions:

endless loop: see loop, endless

downtime: The period during which a system is stable and immune
  from user input.
