Is this the yahoo who came to the Ottawa Unix User's Group to show of
it's Unix-on-NT thingy? If so I wasn't very impressed.
When I was there I asked the presenter (who every he was) what his
company was doing to educate hia customers to get into a real Unix
since his product was clearly a temporary stop-gap measure. His
response was that Unix was not where he was making his money.
I seemed also to have upset some the Sys Admins at the group as well
since they had long sold out to the enemy by simply living with
Microsoft and not finding a way to convince management that Unix IS
the way to go.
I remember comparing them to the Vichy colaborators with the Nazis
during the Second World war. They were not amused. I on the other
hand was quite amused, since they obviously took themselves too
seriously and I don't take myself seriously at all.

To say that something is 'nonessential' is to say that
it is 'unnecessary.'
GUIs, while nice, are nonessential.
