The amount of hydrogren need to power a notebook couldn't explode hair off
your
hand :P

Secondly, there are several ways to store hydrogen so it won't explode.  One
way is inside a tank.  That way, when you have a spark nearby, it won't
explode.  I know its hard to imagine ;)
