[oclug] Need advice on server specs

I was pretty sure that the fastest SCSI, was a fair bit better
than the fastest IDE. Is this really wrong?
Ultra160 SCSI can do (up to) 160MB/sec vs. 100MB/sec of UDMA100, no?
I know the price difference is not worth it for many applications,
but it is still a 60% gains (or so). Any qualitative numbers to
prove otherwise?
