I read this, and an item on the ``Web Suite'' package from GreatBridge.
The GreatBridge product comprises only freely available software,
presumably bundled with GB's optimizations and glue, and a support plan.
My questions are: 1) Is that worth $2500 US vs. $0?
2) What is GreatBridge returning to the FS/OSS
community in return for $free development
Apropos HP *and* GB, it's an unfortunate that, while they may only be
packaging previously available open source software in nice shiney boxes,
with a familiar brand name, and a support line (and charging handsomely
for all of that), that is exactly the cue that a lot of managers have
been waiting for before they implement OSS: ``It's not wierd open source
software from parts unknown, it's good ol' HP!''
Dave.
