The big purple graphic with all the languages is neither Aurora nor 
Lilo/Grub. It's the Linux_bootlogo the Mandrake has built into the kernel. 
To get rid of it, you can either set the vga= settings on bootup, recompile 
the included kernel without the bootlogo turned on, or just compile a fresh 
kernel.
