We are looking for a skilled Linux developer, with strong C, PHP, PERL and
shell programming experience. The appropriate candidate will have a
good, strong working knowledge of MYSQL, with the ability to learn PostgreSQL
quickly if needed. HTML, JavaScript and the ability to use PHP and Perl to
create interactive dynamic web pages using MYSQL is a must. You will need
extensive knowledge of APACHE, SQUID, network security, redundancy, and load
balancing/failover. Once again, you will need :
· Competency in Linux systems administration.
· Competency in web programming in HTML, Perl, PHP, Javascript (any
other web development languages are an asset)
- extensive C experience
· Sound experience and understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, EXIM, APACHE, SQUID,
MYSQL
· Experience in networking and security administration.
· Experience with relational databases and the ability to design a database
and applications, with a firm eye on speed issues
· Experience in the development of database applications, particularly database
applications using web pages for interactive data collection and display
· Experience in Internet services administration, particularly with web, mail,
database and http proxy servers.
- Develop scripts, including Shell and Perl to perform routine systems
administration tasks
-Team player who must be able to work well with other team members on
collaborative development projects.
· Needs to have a disciplined, systematic and analytical approach to problem
solving in a demanding and constantly changing environment.
· Ability to adapt to new approaches and concepts quickly and effectively.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills and listening skills.
· Self-starter who is able to demonstrate initiative and supervise his/herself.
· Well developed organizational and time management skills.
