... and the desire to reach the destination. In this regard,
unfortunealy, there are a whole lot of people, espeically in the West
who are essentially no better than Americans themselves. The whole
Reform/Canadian Alliance movement is all about Americaniizing Canada.

There are plently of things you can do. For instance, complain. I
recently sent off a nasty little missive to CHRO complaining about
moving ST: Voyager from 5pm to 4pm (in direct competition with STNG
on CityTV). But I also added that I think that they should remove
Walker Texas Ranger since it is nothing but right wing American
propaganda.(1) I suggested if we are going to have propaganda we
should be having Canadian ones. I suggested, in not too subtle terms,
that Canada as a multi-cultural society should not be supporting a
nation that promotes values that a clearly counter to Canadian
ideals.

Hopefully more than myself have taken action.

1. Not that I have anything against Texas mind you/ As many of you
know I spend a lot of time there, especially in West Teax, and the
