Who said they still aren't?  All we know is that the front-side HTTP
servers are running Win2k with IIS5.  Perhaps IIS has a proxy mode...  ;)
AFAIK, they were running a Solaris box for DNS (something to go check
out), and any back-end stuff might well be done by sendmail and mysql for
all we know.  :)  But who knows.  The Passport verification stuff is all
M$, and probably runs on Win2k servers (using BSD wouldn't be quite as bad
a way to start .NET as Linux, though).
