Bite your tongue lad! CT is one of the finest financial instituions in
this country! While every other bank abided by "banker's hours", CT was
open early and closed late to serve those who actually work and can't get
to the bank during the day. They gave a freindly feel to their outlets,
were one of (if not the) first to provide telephone banking, were one of
(if not the) first to provide really good web banking, and have been most
helpful to me in the 17yrs I've done business with them.

Granted, CIBC is much more aggressive about rates, etc. CT wasn't even
the slightest bit interested in meeting CIBC's mortgage rates for me last
year, but then, no other bank was either.

TD merged with CT to gain their service advantages, hence the new name "TD
Canada Trust". I just hope they don't muck it all up. So far, they've
been pretty good, but I'm just waiting until the bean counters and
greedy, power-hungry, old men get turned loose on the new company.
