Oh yeah... boatloads of fun...

I tried using X4 on my home PC (which has both an ATI Mach 64 (GX based
card), which is no longer supported, and a Voodoo 2 which I can't seem to
make work (the card works fine under Windows... stated only to verify that
it does in fact operate). This dropping support for older hardware seems
to fly in the face of the spirit of Linux, that being, it will enable
reuse of older hardware. I'm using a driver from X3 so I can have a
display, but that means I either a) lose all the good features or b) buy
new hardware.
