Of course it's totally absurd to have a ``website'' that denies access to
any OS. To me any such site is not a website: it can't be called part of
the WWW.
This reminded me of an oclugger's recent post about the *nix Club, whose
first rule is that no one admits to being a member. I thought it would be
interesting to see what their server runs on; however, queso returns,
63.99.128.80:80 *- Unknown OS, pleez update /etc/queso.conf
which I don't know how to do. Anyway, there's a good chance that they're
in the club.
We Linux users can use Macromedia Flash with their browsers, if we want.
I think we should have access to all ``websites'' concerning companies
that make software for us. Also, there is something fundamentally wrong
in a situation where a group of people can only be consumers/observers and
not authors.
Dave.
