I had no luck getting my (formerly) MDK7.1 box to recognize a D-Link-530TX
NIC.  Finally, I removed it and installed a generic RealTek NIC, which
works just fine.  As for the driver/module, well, the RealTek uses
rtl8139, and there was a difference of opinion on the D-Link:  the tulip
driver or another one--it will be in the mailing list archive from about a
month ago.
