Hmm ... a quickly reloadable proxy/firewall box - sounds like a job for
E-Smith!  Dan's suggestion is very good, and he's too much of a gentleman to
self promote his company's product, but I have no such qualms.  Take a hard
look at E-Smith's  product - it's an exact fit for this situation.

I personally know a site using E-Smith's products for an extremely high
traffic web-related business with nothing but good things to say about them.
