That could be interesting.  I'd throw in Java servlets, ASP (there's a
linux/UNIX port, correct?), plain-jane CGI's, and whatever else too.

I'm not sure what the next pwars will involve yet.  I was thinking of
announcing the next one in June (judging in July).

I think that's what made it really interesting.  I think most of us knew
in advance how certain languages would fare in this battle, and this
confirms that certain languages have obvious advantages and
disadvantages.  Also, there's always more than one way to do it!  If I
had written my own, I probably would have done it in Perl with the help
of the File::Find and File::Basename modules.  Not sure if it would have
turned out shorter than Dave's...I'm not quite the Perl expert he is.

Well...back to fixing my bike....it's too nice to be inside right now,
