Do you remember how you set up your various disk drives?  On a typical
system, /dev/hda is the harddrive and /dev/hdb is the cdrom.  I'm not an
expert in this area, but note carefully which of your physical drives is
which /dev/hd? .  LILO might be looking for something that doesn't exist
where it is looking.
