554 MX list for kronos.honk.org. points back to spectre.honk.org
554 <jearle at kronos.honk.org>... Local configuration error

I can send mail out without issue, but from time to time, this "just
happens". On spectre, I can nslookup kronos.honk.org (a subdomain) just
fine, I can nslookup the MX record, spectre can send mail to kronos - it
all looks like its working fine, except when I try to send mail from the
outside.

The system is running a split dns - kronos is the primary nameserver for
spectre, but only hosts itself. Lookups for anything other than names in
its domain are forwarded to real nameservers "out there".

I've gotta be missing something. I can post logs and configs as required.

Cheers!
Jon
