[linux-novice] backing up email boxes

Please tell me how to back up my email inbox, outbox, attachments and 
address book.  I plan to wipe out and re-install my Linux 
distribution.

I am using Mandrake 9.2 and the program is Ximian Evolution.
I also have a CD burner.

My internet connection is fouled up, thus looking up help becomes 
very difficult.
