The OCLUG judges had a very hard time choosing between Deep Indigo and Apathy from Bell Centennial school - both teams made excellent use of open source languages and tools.
Open source software gave them an edge in the Algonquin competition too - they came first and second for the Algonquin prizes.
OCLUG has a wiki available for all teams to access for additional comments or ideas the Algonquin Programming Contestents would like to make to OCLUG. - http://oclug.on.ca/phpwiki/ProgrammingOlympics2007
You are always welcome to join OCLUG, one of our mailing lists and/or attend a regular OCLUG meeting.
